IS022716 Good Manufacturing Practice Certification for Cosmetics

The certification of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for cosmetics is based on the international standard ISO22716, First Edition, November 15, 2007 "Cosmetics - Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) - Guidelines for Good Manufacturing Practice" and GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics), ensuring that cosmetics meet strict quality and safety requirements throughout the entire production process from raw materials to finished products. This international standard provides guidelines for the production, control, storage, and transportation of cosmetics.

ISO22716: 2007: It is a quality management system standard for the cosmetics industry developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in November 2007. It has become a GMP coordination standard for the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, which means that compliance with EN ISO 22716:2007 means compliance with the GMP requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation. This standard puts forward stricter requirements for the safety of cosmetics and clarifies that product owners will bear more legal responsibilities.
GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practices): It is an extension of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) issued by the US Congress in 1963 to regulate drug production, specifically targeting the cosmetics industry. It requires cosmetics companies to strictly follow the requirements in all operations such as feeding, inspection, processing, packaging, and storage to ensure the hygiene and safety of products.
